Samara Weaving is good as Thea but Brigette Lundy Paine who plays Ted's daughter Billie is absolutely outstanding. The film is modern enough for younger audiences yet has plenty of nostalgia that most of the original fans will enjoy.

Was the feminist agenda really necessary. In the first two films (which I love) it's clearly stated that bill and ted will unite the world and they did so at the end of bogus journey, but because of the world we currently live in males doing that would be blasphemous (Sad but true) so of course the previous plots were ignored and our heroes were shoved to one side so their gender swapped children could take centre stage. I am a lifelong fan of Bill and Ted, I still have the first movie memorized. When I heard this was finally getting made I was super excited and couldn't wait. Now that wait is over and I am completely and totally happy.
There's a lot going on in this movie and at times it loses it's coherency but, just like saving all of existence, the guys pull it off in the end. The fact of the matter is that you're not watching this film unless you were a fan of the first two films, so put aside any and all expectations because you'll either love it or hate it. I imagine this entry will be as divisive to fans as Bogus Journey was when it came out, but I personally think it is a most excellent end to the trilogy.
